Data compiled 2 September 2026. 78 clinics in Utah, each with a phone number or website taken from the clinic’s own site on the day of publication, and an address from OpenStreetMap. No ratings, no reviews, no ranking: this page says what is verifiable and names what is missing. Not medical or legal advice.

How to use this list

This is a contact list, not a recommendation. Every phone number in the tables was read from the clinic’s own website on 2 September 2026, so the number is not a decade-old scrape; the address comes from OpenStreetMap, which is community-maintained and can lag on suite numbers. Treat the phone as reliable, the street as probable, and the hours as a hint. If a clinic has moved, that is usually visible on its own site within a day or two.

One number worth knowing before you scroll: Utah has hundreds of licensed dentists — the state licensing board lists them by name and county — and this page publishes 78. That is not a coincidence and not a judgement: 78 is how many we could verify from a live site on a single day. The rest of the state is searchable at the board’s own lookup, which is also where you check the disciplinary history no directory can show you.

How to choose, when everything looks the same

• Call and ask three questions. Whether they are accepting new patients for your insurance network; whether an emergency slot exists this week; and who does the work (a general dentist, a specialist, or a rotating locum). A front desk that answers all three on the first call is doing something right.
• Check the licence, not the website. The Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing keeps a public licence lookup for dentists and dental hygienists, including disciplinary history; every clinic here has at least one licensed Utah dentist for its Utah address.
• Look at the number of reviews, not their average. A 4.8 across 300 reviews is a different statement than 5.0 across 6.
• If your child is the patient, ask two things specifically: whether they see children under six, and whether they use behaviour-management techniques you are comfortable with. Utah Medicaid covers general anaesthesia and intravenous conscious sedation only where a child cannot be treated safely under local anaesthesia because of a disability or complex medical condition, and nitrous oxide analgesia is not covered at all under the dental plan.
• Ask about the fee before the chair. Utah’s Medicaid benefit summary sets hard limits that also shape what private practices quote: silver fillings once every two years per tooth surface, tooth-coloured composite covered for front teeth and plan-dependent for back teeth, stainless steel crowns once every two years per tooth, metal and porcelain crowns once every five years with prior authorisation. The same surface-level logic is why two clinics can quote different prices for what you call “the same filling”.
• If you are in the diaspora and want Ukrainian or Russian, ask before you book, not at the appointment. None of the 78 listings here claims a language on its own site, and we did not guess: call the number above and ask.

Method, sources and what is missing

Where each line came from. Three sources, in this order of authority. (1) OpenStreetMap, queried on 2 September 2026 for `amenity=dentist` and `healthcare=dentist` in the state’s bounding box: 337 objects, 326 with a name, 315 after removing duplicated names, 120 of them carrying both a city and at least one contact field. (2) The clinic’s own website, fetched on the same day: we took the phone number, the e-mail and the opening hours from the page we actually downloaded, and we only kept a clinic if its site answered. (3) The CMS InsureKidsNow benefit summary for Utah Medicaid (data as of 4 February 2026) for the coverage paragraphs. OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and redistributed under ODbL; the OSM object id is kept for every record so any line can be traced back.

Why there is no top 15, and no rating. A ranking needs a criterion. Any criterion we could compute from this data — number of dentists, presence of a website, having weekend hours — would measure the clinic’s marketing, not its clinical work, and there is no public per-clinic outcome data in Utah to rank against: the state dental board publishes licences and disciplinary actions, not complication rates. What we could do instead is check facts, so that is what this page does. If you want the “best”, the defensible heuristics are at the bottom of this page.

What is deliberately missing. Reviews. We did not copy a single patient review: text taken from a review platform is that platform’s content, published reviews about named businesses cannot be verified by us, and a scraped star rating goes stale the day after it is copied. Every row links to the clinic’s own site — read the reviews where they live, and check how many there are, because a 4.9 with nine reviews and a 4.6 with four hundred are not the same thing. Also missing: 118 clinics we could not verify (19 had no website at all, 12 sites had no phone or e-mail we could find, 11 sites did not answer). They are not worse; they are unverifiable by this method, and we will not publish a contact we have not seen.

Changes to this page: contacts are re-verified in bulk rather than one by one, so a moved or closed clinic can be out of date between passes. If a number here is wrong, that is on us — the address and the OSM object id above make it checkable in under a minute.
